The remaining publications consist of books and book chapters (68 publications). In addition, CIAGRO-UMH members have presented a total of 220 conference papers, 70 of which were international conferences and 150 national conferences.
During 2022, CIAGRO-UMH researchers published a total of 155 JCR scientific articles, of which 102 were published in first quartile (Q1) journals, which represents slightly more than half of the published articles.
Funding for all this research activity has been made possible through the participation of CIAGRO-UMH members in 81 competitive research projects and the signing of 86 contracts and agreements, under Article 83 of the Organic Law of Universities (LOU), with public and private entities. Total funding amounts to €5,112,087.18, of which €3,931,161 (79.6%) comes from research projects and €1,180,926 (23.1%) from technology support contracts and agreements. The comparison between the number of R&D projects and contracts, which are split almost 50/50, highlights the balance between the missions of CIAGRO-UMH: on the one hand, the importance of technology transfer and orientation towards solving the needs of society and the productive fabric of our environment, and on the other hand, research as a source of generating new knowledge which will later be transferred, is not neglected.
