CIAGRO comprises 67 tenured researchers and 24 associate researchers .. The institute’s research team covers almost all disciplines within the agri-food and agro-environmental sectors, ranging from agricultural production and means of production to markets and distribution, including food processing and production. All of this is approached from an agro-environmental perspective that promotes biodiversity, resilience to climate change, and the efficient use of natural resources, ultimately fostering sustainability.

Proyectos I+D+I,projects, agreements and contracts in which the Senior Research Staff of CIAGRO-UMH participated during the last 5 years (period September 2015 to October 2020)

During the last 5 years analyzed, 2/3 of the research groups attached to the Institute have participated in at least 1 I+D+I project in international competitive calls, with an average of 1.5 projects per research group; that all the research groups of CIAGRO-UMH have participated in I+D+I projects in national or regional calls, with an average of 7.2 projects per research group, and finally that all the research groups of the institute have participated in I+D+I or transfer agreements and contracts, with an average of just over 17 contracts per research group.
